Dennis founded AEI in 1999, upon returning to his roots in Southern Oregon from Washington State, where he had been a pioneer in the custom home electronic systems field for over 13 years. Dennis holds Limited Journeyman Licenses in the states of Oregon (#3362 LEA) and Washington (#LANE*DG099LA).

Working with some of the premier custom home electronics organizations within the Seattle/Bellevue area, Dennis was involved in projects on homes ranging in size up to 55,000 square feet, including the Bill and Melinda Gates residence. He was also recognized as a leading designer/installer for his work on the Dr. Charles Simonyi (Microsoft inventor of Word & Excel programs) residence in the June 1997 issue of Audio/Video Interiors Magazine.

Kevin joined AEI in February of 2002, building on a career of over 20 years in the field of low voltage systems, including security, CCTV, access control, phone, lighting control, whole house audio, video distribution/modulation, home theater, data networking and low voltage wiring. He has held responsible positions as technician, service manager, sales representative and project manager. He has participated in various training courses, holding numerous equipment certifications. He has been licensed with the State of Oregon for over 18 years and currently holds his State of Oregon Limited Energy Journeymen license (#4029 LEA).

Bruce joined AEI in March of 2002, bringing over 20 years experience in the custom home electronics field. Bruce has been responsible for system design / integration, installation and end-user training. Since joining AEI, he has been specializing in programming of controllers for integrated home and business electronic systems, primarily dealing with Crestron, Integra and RTI (Remote Technology Inc) processing units. He holds a Restricted Energy license (#1907 LEB). Bruce has an exceptional facility for keeping on top of our rapidly changing technologies. Consequently he acts as the chief technology resource of our company.

Gary joined AEI in February of 2002, with over 14 years experience in managing the installations of high-end electronic custom home systems in Washington and Oregon. For the previous 12 years Gary served as project manager in the installation of computer-based security, fire, CCTV and access control systems for the commercial, military, government, and aerospace markets. Mr. Sumrak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, where he studied psychology and business. Gary is certified in the design and installation of Lutron and Vantage lighting control systems, as well as Leviton communication networks. He also holds a State of Oregon Limited Energy Journeymen license (#1694 LEA).

Debra Joined AEI in 2006, she brings with her over 22 years of office and business management experience. She and her family have lived in the Rogue Valley for over thirty years. With a sharp eye for “detail” and “Teamwork” being some of her many strong points, AEI runs smoothly within its daily business operations.
